Casablanca - the Movie - Rick's Cafe - the City..

I was excited to get to Casablanca and looking forward to seeing and visiting Rick;s Cafe. I believe almost everyone is familiar with the movie Casablanca... if YOU aren't, you've missed a true classic Bogart movie - do yourself a favor ad see it sometime soon.

The hotel is quite large and incorporated to a residential building. Service is excellent. The front desk personnel are truly helpful in answering any questions - in French, English, or Arabic.

The same is true of Sophia, the restaurant manager, and staff. The food is very good. There is a nice morning breakfast buffet with your eggs or omlet cooked to order. Their club sandwiches are massive and great. When could you say the tomato slices on a sandwich were worth mentioning? These are. Sophia makes a wonderful juice drink of slices of apple, pear , orange juice, and yogurt.

Smoking is allowed indoors in the front area facing the street. Meals are available here and one can smoke comfortably at a table indoors.

Rick's Cafe

Well, about the first thing I did after arriving and checking in the hotel in Casablanca was go to Rick's Cafe. As it turns out, I had a few pictures here of my 1st visit. The way things worked out... I've been there every day in Casablanca for at least awhile. So I combined the pix from all 3 days in a single group here (Day 9)
