Marrakesh... or is it Marrakech?

Both are correct (to some extent depending on where you are) but HERE it is Marrakech.

I took an early train to Marrakech from Rabat. The trip is 334 Km (208 Mi) and takes 3:42 - fast. When you consider numerous stops on the way, it is really fast when it is running.

I don't know exactly how many people got off the train, but I know there weren't many when I got on in Rabat but when I got off, there were some number of hundreds of people getting off the train.

Marrakesh Train Station I keep being amazed by people over here. I enjoy riding the trains, but the baggage can be a hassle: 1 max airline allowable carry-on and one next size up that flies as a checked bag. Everywhere I go someone is helping me get a bag on or off the train or up or down stairs at a train station. I can only put it down to people respecting older folks.

Marrakech Hotel

Finally at the hotel at 11:30 AM I was a bit too early for check in. I explored the neighborhood a bit. What looks to be a great seafood restaurant is next door (photos above of sidewalk seafood display) and a couple more in the next block. All have mounds of fresh seafood to pick from and have it cooked or take it with you - at one place a couple of the lobsters seemed annoyed at the situation... but probably not for too much longer...

The room is a bit small, but adequate for one person... two if they're really good friends...

While the rooms are non-smoking, I can step out onto my balcony to smoke.
