Hello from Panama...
...on my Testcation! I call it a "test-cation" instead of a "vacation" because this trip is really to test the waters and see if I'm up to the vacation I want to take next.
After January's abdominal surgery and recovery, I thought it would be a good idea to try a short vacation before going to Morocco (Casablanca, Marrakech, Fez) and Andalusia Spain.
The flight was nothing compared to my Bangkok flight. This was fairly short and easy. Still, at the end I was just as beat as I was on the Bangkok flight. After my 1st day here, I know I'm definitely not ready for a prime time vacation yet.
The Executive Hotel is very nice as you can see from the pictures. I didn't do any of the pool or gym... why would I ever be around a gym?
I did go ahead and do the gym and pool after...
They aren't very smoker friendly. No smoking in the rooms, of course. Also not allowed to smoke on your balcony. There is a large outdoor area off the reception area (pictured below) and no smoking there, either. The only place smoking is allowed is on the driveway area or walkways.
