Arrival & My Hotel

Well, I guess I'm just a big wuss... Flew to Roatan Honduras on Wednesday and the trip kicked my butt - 10 hours after I left the house I arrived at my hotel - very long day for an old dude. I think the worst part was arriving in Miami to change planes and came in at the last gate on Concourse E then had to walk 10 miles (well... it seemed that far) to the last gate on Concourse D. The flights themselves were pleasant. Spent Thursday recuperating and getting sightseeing lined up as well as walking the area of my lodging and checking it out. Good food at the hotel restaurant - and al fresco! The breakfast buffet is a full spread of almost anything you could want for breakfast They've been having bad weather and today (Thursday) was beautiful and supposed to stay that way - good timing for me getting here. I really like the hotel and the tropical setting!
