Florenza Lighters
The Florenza brand was primarily for jewelry but also included other decorative boutique items and smoking accessories. They made lighters, match boxes, and ashtrays. Among the figural lighters they made are the Owl, Poodle, Elephant, and Penguin and a piece resembling a shortened version of a chess Knight piece with 4 small legs.. Some items are marked 'Florenza' while others are marked 'Rosenfeld by Florenza' and 'Lorraine Marsel'.
The brand was owned by Dan Kasoff and in operation from the late 1940s through 1981. Florenza also made products for companies such as Estee Lauder and Revlon.
