Clark Lighters
W. G. Clark & Company of North Attleboro, Massachusetts was first established in 1881 and originally made jewelry.
The Clark lift arm mechanism was first invented in 1926 by Edward Foster Clark of Attleboro, MA. Clark was an important manufacturer of lift arm lighters as well as cigarette cases and automatic lighters. These were high quality lighters produced from the mid-1920s through the 1940s. They produced lighters for all budgets from nickel plated brass to silver and gold models. They used lacquers and glass enamels for some of their most beautiful lighters and even had watches embedded in some.
